My client, A National Advertising Business, are looking for an Account Manager who wants to be the face of the business in Hobart and the wider Tasmanian region. This role will see you partner with existing clients, cross selling new services or campaigns and hunting for new business opportunities. You will ideally have previous experience as an Account Manager, Business Development Manager, Account Executive or similar within the Advertising Industry, this could be any medium, with strong relationships with local business' and agencies that you can leverage. This is a completely new Territory that has some existing clients so a lot of opportunity is on offer for you and the chance to build something.

**What will you be doing?**
- Develop detailed business plans to reach predetermined goals and sales targets as determined by the Director of Sales.
- Manage the entire sales cycle from finding a potential client to securing deals and communicate progress to the Director of Sales.
- Develop new sales opportunities through networking and turning leads into long-term partnerships, including participation with local community groups.
- Develop strategic advertising proposals and presentations for current, new and potential clients.
- Maintain regular communication with clients to understand and anticipate needs.
- Demonstrate the organisational culture, code of conduct, mission, vision, values and confidentiality within the Group and in all external relationships.
- Support the Company's culture of zero harm in the workplace; wear and maintain personal protective equipment where required by director or statutory requirement; take reasonable care to ensure actions and omissions do not impact on the health and safety of others; and, if in any doubt about performing a task in a safe and proper manner, seek directions to complete the task.
- Report in a timely manner and proactively address breaches in service delivery; progress timely corrective action and/or escalate issues where policies, procedures or internal controls are ignored or breached.
- Quality assurance and continuous improvement
- Adhere to the Company’s policies and procedures;
- Identify and implement ways to improve client service and administration within this role;
- Contribute to ongoing review, development and implementation of changes to improve productivity and efficiency of the Company;
- Actively participate in team and sales meetings for training and to discuss and monitor workflows, deadlines and deliverables.

**What your background might include?**
- Proven sales experience with exceptional presentation skills and a successful track record of consistently achieving sales targets and KPIs.
- Clean and open driver’s licence applicable to the country within which the territory is located.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, CRM and other programs relevant to the role.
- Strong organizational skills that reflect ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly with excellent attention to detail.
- Proven ability to achieve fundamental targets and objectives and in the delivery of administrative and reporting functions in a service driven organisation.
- A high level of initiative with a preparedness to learn and adopt new technology, work practices, systems and procedures; underpinned by an ability to think outside the box.
- Well-developed oral and written communication skills, including demonstrated ability to negotiate and resolve issues with employees, clients, partners, suppliers, management and co-workers at all levels.
- Ability to maintain equilibrium, make decisions, be flexible in responding to changing priorities, work unsupervised, accept responsibility and act on directives with professional discretion.
- Ability to resolve problems in a timely and cost-efficient manner; underpinned by sound technical competence.
- A high standard of personal grooming and presentation appropriate for the position.
- Self-motivated, passionate, friendly, proactive, professional, positive attitude; reliable and punctual with a high level of integrity and a sound understanding of appropriate behaviours in the workplace.

**My client offers a package of $90,000 Base Salary + $15,000 Car Allowance + Uncapped On Target Commission $30,000 + Super.
