The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Family Office Accountant to join our team. As a Family Office Accountant, you will be responsible for leading and reviewing the preparation of financial statements and reports for family office clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and review the preparation of financial statements and reports for family office clients.
  • Coordinate and assist in the preparation of tax returns, optimizing tax strategies, and identifying tax-efficiency opportunities.
  • Lead and review the preparation of bookkeeping processes, including BAS, IAS, FBT, CGT, and PAYG for a variety of companies and trusts.
  • Monitor investments portfolios and reconcile transactions for reporting.
  • Contribute to ad hoc projects related to the operations of the family office.
About You
  • You will have a minimum of 2 years' experience in a Chartered Accounting Practice.
  • You will be a Chartered Accountant qualification or in progress.
  • You will have experience working with high net-worth individuals and family office clients.
  • You will have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or a similar field.
  • You will have expertise using accounting software, including MYOB AE, HowNow, Active Ledger, APS, MYOB, Xero, and QuickBooks.
  • You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • You will have strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • You will be proactive, self-motivated, and enthusiastic.
