My client is on the search for a dedicated permanent Accounts/Admin Officer, looking to join their small team in West Melbourne. The role will cover mostly AR tasks, while assisting when required with AP/Payroll and general office administration tasks.

Client Details

Our client has been in the wholesale industry for close to 60 years, catering to and working in partnership with both small and large businesses across Australia, they provide high quality holiday decorations, homewares and greenery to their loyal customers.

Description

  • You will be responsible for driving the AR responsibilities of the business (involving invoicing, collections & reconciliations)
  • Provide AP & Payroll support to the team when required
  • Assist with office administration tasks daily (including answering phones, filing & purchasing supplies for the office)

Profile

  • Proven experience working across accounts and office admin in a small team
  • Exposure to working with XERO & Excel is ideal
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and account reconciling
  • Exceptional organisational and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with internal/external stakeholders
