Valuation Analyst

What can you expect?

Marsh Valuation Services (incorporating AssetVal) is a specialist division within Marsh that undertakes the valuation of property plant, equipment and infrastructure assets, for many of the Pacific region's leading corporate and public sector organisations.

In order to support our ongoing growth of our NSW & ACT office we are seeking a soon to be graduate, recently graduated or candidate with a 1–2-years' in property valuation who is looking to grow their career in property valuations.

The role will help support a specific multi year contract working with as part of a team to complete. To help deliver on this, we are seeking an enthusiastic self-motivated professional with a strong work ethic and good attention to detail. This is a wonderful opportunity to learn and grow your career in a fast-paced environment and unique area of specialisation, working alongside senior staff on varied and interesting valuations.

You will have the opportunity to contribute to the team providing wide-ranging advice, primarily to assist with insurance and financial reporting valuation requirements across NSW and Australia.

We will count on you to:

  • Assist with a multi year project across NSW
  • Work closely with the project manager to ensure on time and accurate delivery
  • Undertake research & data analysis
  • Supervised site inspections and field work
  • Report & spreadsheet compilation to include data transfer, formatting & formulas
  • Liaison with client representatives
  • Use of our in-house valuation program
  • Arranging project plans & site inspections
  • Supporting senior staff with general valuation, research & analysis tasks

  • Degree (or soon to be completed Degree) in Property Valuation
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills and computer competency
  • Organised
