About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Property Analyst to join our Private Credit team in Sydney. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assessing the creditworthiness and risk associated with real estate-backed loans and investments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate the creditworthiness and risk associated with real estate-backed loans and investments
  • Review financial statements, tax returns, rent rolls, and property operating statements
  • Prepare detailed development feasibility modelling
  • Analyse market conditions, property valuations, and potential risks
  • Conduct thorough due diligence, including site visits
  • Create detailed credit reports, recommend appropriate loan terms and conditions
  • Advise on risk mitigation strategies for approval by IC
  • Negotiate terms for subordinated credit and complex/high-risk credit investments
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Property Economics
  • Knowledge of property valuation methods and real estate market dynamics
  • Skill in assessing property market trends, occupancy rates, and rental income projections
  • Capability to evaluate collateral and conduct sensitivity analysis
  • Familiarity with commercial real estate sectors (office, retail, industrial, multifamily)
  • 2-5 years of experience in property credit
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial calculations
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for report writing and presentations
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and liaise with various departments
