Asset Management Projects Officer
3 month contract at first$53-$55 per hourMust have GIS Experience Our client is looking for an Asset Management Projects Officer to develop and deliver asset management projects across Palmerston by supervising works, preparing documents and reports, and contributing to achieving set organisational targets relative to asset management activities. About the role: Working with the Asset Management Lead, you will be responsible for the delivery of asset management projects and associated services that contribute to community planning Prepare procedures for asset management practices and assist in the development of asset management plans and strategiesUses technical knowledge and understanding of business functions and operations to ensure asset management services are effectively and efficiently deliveredProject manage and undertake the collection and updating of data in line with the asset management plans and revaluation scheduleUndertake field inspections, risk assessments and surveys to verify and assess assetsAssist in the preparation of revaluations, end of year transactions, works programming and operational, capital budget and long-term budgetsCoordinate the scheduling of asset management projects with internal and external stakeholdersDevelop quality organisational documentation, including strategies, reports, presentations, project plans, procurement documents, briefings and correspondence, for a variety of audiences What you will need: In order to take up this great opportunity, the successful applicant will require the following skills and experience Certificate level qualifications in a related field or equivalent practical knowledge Demonstrated ability to work within a team environmentDemonstrated analytical and problem-solving skillsKnowledge or experience in project managementKnowledge or experience in GISKnowledge of asset management principles and ISO 55000 standards What We Can Offer: $53 - $54 per hour + SuperWeekly PayWork life balanceFocus on professional growth Your Next Steps: If you feel you have the skills and experience to be a success in this role apply now with a current resume, for more information or a confidential discussion about your next career move.
