About the Team
The Fraud Fusion Taskforce aims to enhance payment integrity in government programs by combating fraud and criminal activity. The Taskforce promotes intelligence sharing and response among various agencies including law enforcement and regulators.

The Fraud Fusion Taskforce Intelligence Analytics Branch spearheads the collection and analysis of integrity data to provide actionable intelligence to Agency management. This role involves strategic, operational, and tactical intelligence, managing the fraud risk library, detection analytics, and fraud tip-offs.

As an APS6

Responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the team's response function, addressing information requests and senior management queries.
  • Coordinating intelligence projects, creating high-quality intelligence products for decision-making.
  • Providing accurate advice, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and policies.
  • Liaising with stakeholders, sharing information, and producing briefing papers.
  • Assisting in data analysis for communications purposes.

EL1 duties

Responsibilities include:
  • Utilizing a Diploma of Government (Investigation) or equivalent to lead intelligence planning.
  • Supporting the team's response function and coordinating information requests.
  • Leading intelligence projects, producing strategic outputs for stakeholders.
  • Liaising with other Agencies, sharing intelligence, and producing briefing papers.
  • Producing reference and training materials for intelligence support.
  • Coordinating recruitment and providing managerial oversight.
  • Leading a team of Intelligence Coordination Officers.
