Business Development Executive

This role is multifaceted and sits at the intersection between assisting the consultants, designer and project managers in winning projects, creating proposals and building relationships with key accounts, responding to new client enquiries, marketing.

You will be responsible for acquiring new clients, creating and maintaining close relationships with clients, as well as being the voice of the client within the company.

You will work closely with the stakeholders to ensure that projects achieve necessary milestones in a timely manner.

You will ensure that the parameters and requirements of the project are communicated effectively, that information flows smoothly, and that all stakeholders are kept updated at all times.

HMG is a dynamic, rapidly growing consulting group that specialises in acquisition due diligence, business activation, outsource operation management, design and fit-out company that offers complete turnkey solutions to clients in the hospitality industry.

We deliver complete one-stop to our clients, which comprise from concept to investment appraisal due diligence, to layout design, equipment specification, and all necessary building works and approvals.

We work with our clients and offer our extensive knowledge when it comes to the optimization of kitchen and equipment, focusing on workflow, speed, and efficiency.

We strive to build high trust relationships and to focus our efforts on delivering a great quality service and product.

Due to a burgeoning pipeline of projects, we are seeking an enthusiastic and professional salesperson who is willing to learn and specialize in the Hospitality Industry.


The Role

  • Support & driving business growth. Develop a network of contacts to attract new clients.
  • Research new market opportunities and oversee growth projects.
  • Making sales projections and forecasting revenue, in line with projected income.
  • Organize sales presentations and ensure that all sales presentation materials are prepared prior to deadlines
  • Update customer records in the company database as required
  • Contact customers to answer basic procedural questions or to gauge their level of satisfaction with the company
  • Reminding the manager/executive of important tasks and deadlines.
  • Typing, compiling and preparing reports, presentations and correspondence.
  • Managing databases and filing systems.
  • Implementing and maintaining procedures/administrative systems.
  • Helping conduct and collate findings from market research
  • Writing targeted content for websites and blogs
  • Social media handling
