Key job responsibilities

  • Help develop Australia Transportation's middlemile function, strategic vision and implementing that vision into reality.
  • Oversee and improve all aspects of middle mile transportation carrier management including but not limited to operations excellence, performance management, escalations, and contract negotiations.
  • Identify, analyze, review and coordinate network improvement initiatives for existing and new logistics solutions with crossfunctional stakeholders optimizing for capacity, quality, speed and cost over the long term.
  • Generate and review relevant and actionable transportation metrics, encouraging improvements and automation over time.
  • Prepare and coordinate operations calls, business reviews, and customer service workshops as needed.
  • Coordinate and communicate transportation planning and forecasts with carriers to ensure sufficient capacity.
  • Experience driving end to end program delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience.
  • Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization.
  • Experience in analytics/project/program management and facilitation of large crossfunctional teams in business operations and technology process improvement areas.
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fastpaced, teamoriented environment.
  • Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements.
