The Client


A leading, well established Australian owned Transport Company providing specialist transport and logístical services with a strong focus on safety and customer service.


The Position
***In this senior role you will be responsible for the growth and development of a new Road Feeder/Interstate service.

  • Create and develop interstate transport functions, including all policies, processes, and operating procedures.
  • Manage the Fleet Maintenance Team to ensure safety and maximise service delivery and fleet effectiveness.
  • Work with leadership team to implement KPI monitoring and reporting
  • Manage day to day Linehaul activities and planning of loads.
  • Conduct team meetings to monitor performance and encourage employee engagement and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure effective communications and customer requirements are met.
  • Develop and build external customer relationships and identify new business opportunities.

The Requirements

  • 5+ years transport experience within the Australian market including fleet management, staff and depot.
  • COR and WHS experience and knowledge of Heavy Vehicle National Law
  • Airfreight knowledge an advantage
  • Advanced change management skills
  • Ability to present and articulate to senior managers and clients
  • Full working rights within Australia and current driver's license
