The Opportunity

Ready to make an immediate impact? Reporting to the Head of Sigma Healthcare Logistics 3PL, you will be responsible for the Account Management of certain Government Contracts, particularly our existing Department of Defence Contract.

You will also be responsible for the development of other Government Contracts, and for the subsequent account management of these contracts.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Facilitate the design, development and execution of solutions for customers as required
  • Establish, develop and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders across the portfolio, in a methodical and structured basis
  • Develop 3PL and 4PL sales and growth targets in conjunction with senior management and Company's strategic objectives
  • Actively identify and evaluate new 3PL and 4PL business opportunities to extend and develop the company's customer and profit base
  • Liaise with internal and external parties (e.g. industry network, government agencies, etc) to ensure new business opportunities/leads are identified and followed through

We are looking for:

  • Extensive experience in business development or account management role, ideally in logistics industry and/or a pharmaceuticals environment
  • Proven track record of growing profitable new business opportunities
  • Experience with coordinating projects/tenders across internal and external entities desirable
  • Customer and Supplier orientation – establishment and maintenance of effective relationships with customers and suppliers, internally and externally
  • Experience in GMP with a sound understanding of ERP systems and BI and reporting solutions
