Key Role Description:
- Reporting to the General Manager of Production Operations, the Operations Leader at the Truganina Print Centre plays a crucial role in driving overall performance by balancing cost-efficient production, quality products, and a safe workforce.
- Responsible for leading transformational change, problem-solving, and engaging employees to deliver exceptional outcomes.
- Building relationships across different levels of employees and with commercial partners is vital for success in this position.
- Leading key projects that contribute to the broader business's success.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer:
- Handle all internal and external queries related to product quality, quantity, and delivery timeliness.
- Act as a key point of contact for communication on product changes.
- Contribute to integrating and prioritizing new products into the production schedule.
Financial:
- Develop and manage the Print Centre budget, including forecasting and reporting to senior leadership.
- Manage controllable costs and identify cost-saving initiatives.
Operational:
- Optimize equipment output and reliability for efficient production and delivery of products.
- Manage operational risks and ensure compliance with regulatory obligations.
- Ensure on-time truck deliveries and drive a high-performance culture focused on continuous improvement.
People:
- Lead by example in safety and foster a culture of zero harm.
- Communicate effectively with employees at all levels and drive engagement.
