Your Responsibilities:
  • Expand Mercer's public sector rewards solutions in NSW and ACT markets.
  • Provide strategic rewards consulting and lead key projects.
  • Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders in government and public sector entities.
  • Contribute to the strategy and direction of public sector and rewards practices.
Key Duties:
  • Develop the public sector markets in NSW and ACT and establish Mercer as a rewards expert
  • Cultivate strong client relationships in the public sector
  • Identify opportunities for new business growth with existing and new public sector clients
  • Lead business development and client management to drive revenue growth
  • Design and manage rewards solutions and projects for optimal client and Mercer outcomes
  • Offer trusted advice to senior public sector clients on challenging issues
  • Demonstrate leadership through strategic consulting, developing perspectives, and speaking at events
  • Foster personal and team development through various learning opportunities
Requirements:
  • Proven track record in business development with public sector clients
  • Experience in addressing public sector client needs and selling consulting interventions
  • Extensive project management experience in public sector rewards, including stakeholder engagement, solution design, project delivery, and commercial management
  • Ability to build relationships with public sector C-Suite executives
  • Understanding of public sector challenges and solutions implementation
  • Collaborative skills for business development and client management across different service areas
  • Strong interpersonal skills for engaging with senior executives and presenting recommendations
  • Knowledge of relevant legislative and regulatory frameworks impacting service offerings
