About the Public Service Commission


The
NSW Public Service Commission (PSC) is headed by an independent Public Service Commissioner and is a separate agency under the _Government Sector Employment Act 2013_ (GSE Act) that supports the Commissioner in exercising her functions and powers.

The PSC leads the design, development and implementation of the full range of workforce management strategies - including workforce capability, recruitment and assessment, performance management, and strategic workforce planning - to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of the NSW public sector workforce

About the team


The team you will work in creates, maintains and advises on key employment and remuneration frameworks for the NSW public sector and provides professional support as the secretariat of three independent remuneration tribunals.

We work collaboratively with people across the sector and within the PSC.

About you


You may have a background in the legal and policy settings for public sector employment, industrial relations, HR or governance.

You can research and analyse information and write recommendations in plain English, based on relevant evidence. You want to learn. You listen actively, are flexible, show initiative and respond quickly when situations change.
