Your role as a Delivery Leader and Principal Business Analyst will play a pivotal role in driving project success through a unique blend of analytical prowess and Agile leadership. You will bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions. This role will see you managing client relationships as an integral aspect of the role. This role demands a high degree of professionalism, technical proficiency, and the ability to deliver exceptional service to clients.

  • This role will see you work with and influence stakeholders to achieve satisfactory client and project outcomes all whilst identifying opportunities, working collaboratively, and managing your projects to deliver client strategic outcomes.
  • You'll act with minimum supervision to prepare, maintain, and track progress of project schedules, scope, resource forecasts, and project finances whilst driving delivery.
  • It's paramount that you understand how to mature agile deliverables and adapt through the adoption of appropriate hybrid and waterfall methodologies as per individual environments, embedding application of Scrum, Agile, Kanban & DevOps frameworks across projects.
  • You will be comfortable initiating, facilitating and leading client workshops that support the definition of nonfunctional and function requirements seeking out information from diverse groups of stakeholders. Day to day, you'll manage, lead and influence technical project teams, vendors, partners and clients to deliver effective project outcomes whilst managing risk, issues, and quality of the deliverables.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Developing plans to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope and budget
  • Identify risks and issues and develop risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans
  • Develop and manage project budgets, including tracking expenses and ensuring that the project remains within budget
  • Create and manage project schedules and identify critical paths and manage dependencies.
  • Project governance including project progress, issues, and changes with key internal and external stakeholders.
  • Lead project closure activities, including project evaluation, documentation of lessons learned, and transitioning deliverables to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit, analyse, and document business requirements.
  • Translate business needs into actionable user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Lead sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Assist in prioritizing product backlog items based on business value and stakeholder feedback.
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders to understand their needs and expectations.
  • Serve as a liaison between business users, development teams, and other project stakeholders.
Your Experience:
You'll be a self-starter with demonstrated experience working within the Information Technology Industry, specifically managing and delivering software development projects. Your exceptional interpersonal skills and collaborative nature will help you develop authentic relationships with clients and stakeholders. Your ability to multi-task between various projects whilst providing strong, consistent direction to project teams colleagues and clients is key. You will have:
  • Solid working history with previous Project Delivery experience in a similar role ideally with previous consulting background
  • Agile Project Management
  • Proven experience working as a Principal Business Analyst and Scrum Lead
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to facilitate collaboration among cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into actionable user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Experience in stakeholder management, engagement and project governance
  • Familiarity with Agile tools such as Jira, Trello, Confluence or similar software.
