About the


Selleys has an exciting opportunity for a strong and innovative manufacturing leader to join us and take ownership of a variety of key functions in one of Dulux Groups largest manufacturing sites based in Padstow, NSW.


As an integral member of the site leadership team and leading a team of up to 70 people, this role will be accountable for the day to day manufacturing operations, including leading our Production and Warehouse teams to ensure high levels of safety and quality standards are always upheld.

With your forward-thinking approach, you'll also drive continuous improvement initiatives and maximise productivity across assets and employees.

Responsibilities

  • People Leadership administering rosters/hours of work, to ensure cost to manufacture are within budget requirements.
  • Ensure management of production focusing on schedule adherence, Quality, Cost control, Material Usage and Labor.
  • Consistent reviewing production processes and practices to optimize safety, quality, efficiency and cost.
  • Leading activities to ensure product availability in a safe cost effective way, maximizing the productivity of the Selleys employees and assets

Skills & Experience

  • Ability to lead and develop a team across multiple shifts.
  • Strong communication skills to communicate and influence different stakeholders across the business.
  • A proven track record of managing different aspects of manufacturing including Change Management and Lean Manufacturing.
  • An awareness of Industry Relation Laws and Practices within the industry.
  • Exposure to managing a financial budget within a manufacturing business.
