About the role

Joining PharmaCare as part of the Scientific Affairs team, you will collaborate with brand marketing teams to bring new products to the market successfully. Based at our Warriewood Head Office, you will provide technical expertise, guidance on product development, and regulatory knowledge to ensure compliant product launches, including various categories like complementary medicines, registered medicines, medical devices, foods, and cosmetics. Working closely with scientific colleagues and external stakeholders, your role will be pivotal in transforming ideas into tangible products.

  • Develop and launch product concepts across brands and distribution channels efficiently
  • Collaborate with marketing on product concepts
  • Stay updated on global product trends and contribute to innovative ideas
  • Provide evidence-based formulations for product concepts
  • Ensure product development aligns with business goals
  • Evaluate raw materials for product suitability
  • Recommend permitted indications and claims
  • Prepare substantiation files for regulatory compliance
  • Maintain relationships with external partners
  • Ensure compliance of promotional material
  • Manage multiple projects through the product development process

Key skills and experience:

  • 3-5 years experience in product development or regulatory affairs
  • Background in complementary medicine or related field
  • Strong organisational and planning skills
  • Project management experience
  • Effective cross-functional communication abilities
  • Problem-solving and critical analysis skills
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements like TGA and FSANZ
  • Experience with medical devices, OTC, or FMCG regulations
