Description:

Position Summary

  • Responsible for developing nutraceuticals / dietary supplements / skincare products to target both China crossborder commerce (CBEC) and general trade (GT) segments.
  • Requests to identify unmet customer needs, marketplace trends, competitive environment, and customer interest and build a business case to turn those into profitable innovation projects in alignment with the company's strategic goals into China market.
  • As a project leader, execute the new product development project process in collaboration with stakeholders including marketers, finance, Scientific Marketing, Regulatory & Quality Control, and Supply Chain to meet the agreed project launch timeline.
  • Collaboration with the Brand team to develop a robust gotomarket technical selling deck and product training services to ensure customer success.
  • Assist in tracking CBEC NPDs portfolios inventory forecast, budget management & improving financial performance (sale growth, gross margins) of Chinaexclusive NPDs through sustaining innovation.
Duties and Responsibilites

  • Design, plan & execute NPD projects which are commercially successful to help deliver divisional growth goals
  • Support management team to work within the framework of the innovation business proposal (IBP) and NPD Gate process and for China projects
  • Be at the forefront of the latest ingredients and technology trends in the dietary supplement industry and foster relationships with key local and international suppliers and manufacturers.
  • Build compelling business cases in China NPD cycle meeting that demonstrate a deep understanding of consumer insights and unmet needs, marketplace trends, competitive environment, and customer interest.
  • Distill NPDs unique selling points and help to prepare training materials for sales and customers with technical selling decks.

Skills and Experiences:

About you

  • Ideally new product development project management experience from either the health/medical sciences, nutrition, or pharmaceutical industries
  • Experience with TGA listing formulations and manufacturing
  • A natural communicator, able to connect with diverse backgrounds (written and verbal)
  • Fast moving, solution driven with a good track record of successful execution and sound and compliant technical solutions
  • Be passionate about innovation and the ability to deal with other internal departments
  • Fluent Mandarin and English language skills
This role may suit a passionate innovator in nutraceutical product development with experience in working with nutrition formulations.

You will be energized by partnering with a variety of stakeholders to create purposeful products and will be ready to hit the ground running and dive into several exciting projects aligned with our winning strategy in the chosen categories.
