About the Role:

The Head of Demand Planning will be responsible for the accuracy of the business' consensus demand forecast. This will be achieved by combining market knowledge, input from key stakeholders and historical data.

By rigorously challenging the assumptions provided by all stakeholders, the role will ensure the forecast is as robust as possible with risks and opportunities clearly identified and understood.

  • Collaborate with the leaders across supply, sales and finance to agree the monthly timeline and expectations and prepare IBP deck with key insights and analysis

  • Ensure all levels of the business have received required communications on changes and/or actions from the cycle
  • Drive monthly forecast process and provide an independent view of the forward forecast
  • Lead the monthly consensus demand reviews across key channels/categories and agree the changes to the forward forecast (sales in and sales out) for the next 6month period
  • Analyse the Demand Plan to review validity of the information and planning process and identify anomalies or exceptions, major changes and monthly risk & opportunities
  • Validate consistency with sales and marketing plans and capture the business drivers for key changes in the forecast vs budget
  • Prepare a 12 monthly rolling statistical forecast for total ANZ reviewed capturing baseline and promotional volume separately
  • Work closely with supply chain and sales to reduce potential out of stocks or minimise stock write offs through improved forecast accuracy & communication
  • Communicate the consensus forecast with the organisation in a logical, easy to understand manner
  • Ensure integrity of the data between the different versions and systems (Anaplan, Kinaxis, Onestream)
