About The Role:

With the company showing continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Contract Administrator to join our Western Australian team, assisting ongoing decommissioning works at one of Australia's most significant Power Generating facilities at Kwinana, and other current and future projects.

This role is a full-time permanent opportunity with weekly pay and will be operate mostly at Kwinana site office, Western Australia.

Work Type: Full Time, PermanentLocation: Perth, WAResponsibilities:
  • Contract management including contract review, departures and negotiation.
  • Oversee and conduct (where necessary) the performance of contract administration activities including preparing and issuing variations, notices of delays, extension of time and progress claims.
  • Assist project team in undertaking negotiations with customers and subcontractors with respect to the head contract, subcontract packages, variations and any potential disputes.
  • Review final head contracts issued by clients and negotiated terms and coordinate arrangement of contract execution.
  • Mentor, support and train project teams in commercial management issues, systems and processes.
  • Assess variation submissions for all project opportunities.
  • Participate in meetings related to project reporting, and new project set up.
  • Support projects with their progress claims, budgeting, forecasting, variations and cost tracking.
  • Provide feedback on operation of existing systems and processes for project and commercial management and proposed new processes and systems.
About You:

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Degree qualified in Construction Management, Business, Law or s related degree.
  • Multiple years' experience in the Construction Industry within a Contract Administration role.
  • Demonstrate the ability to manage all aspects of contract tasks including, financial and technical.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications including MS Project.
  • Excellent problem solving / coordination / communication skills.
  • Detailed knowledge of project management and best practice.
  • Dynamic, engaging and motivational.
  • Positive and can-do attitude.
  • Current Valid Driver's Licence.
