Your new role:


As the Business Coordinator you are responsible for the provision of administrative and secretarial support for Supply Chain and Australian Industry Capability (AIC) personnel operating on the Hunter Program.


In particular, this role will see you:

  • Assist in optimising operation of Supply Chain personnel and create an efficient and effective Supply Chain team and organization
  • Arrange and support events whilst ensuring that company directed events are run in line with company directive
  • Book meeting rooms, arrange catering, room set up/pull down and minute taking
  • Develop appropriate systems, procedures and controls to enhance the accuracy, timeliness and presentation of work for the team
  • Coordinate business travel, raising relevant purchase orders and processing invoices
  • Maintain confidential records and filing of reports, correspondence and related material for ease of retrieval
  • Maintain excellent relationships with internal and external customers ensuring that agreed service levels are achieved and maintained and deadlines met

About you:

As an applicant for this opportunity, you'll have:

  • Demonstrated experience confidential secretarial, administrative and clerical service for a senior manager within business environment
  • Experience in preparing agendas and managing followup actions
  • Ability to prioritise and work effectively under tight deadlines whilst demonstrating effective time management skills
  • A qualification in event planning and/ or Office Administration
  • Sharepoint (Partnerportal) and Windchill experience desirable
