The Institute offers the opportunity to obtain formal accreditation at Certificate, Diploma, Degree and/or Postgraduate levels.Located across three locations in Victoria - Box Hill, Lilydale and Melbourne CBD.
The Institute teaches approximately 40,000 students per year with over 500 courses, 200 accredited courses and 10 workplace training facilities.
Box Hill Institute is nationally recognised and received recognition over the years including the International Training Provider of the Year in 2018, Australian Training Awards' Large Training Provider of the Year 2016 and the Victorian Training Awards Large Training Provider of the Year 2016.

About the role:
The Student Engagement Officer supports the Student Engagement Administrator and AMEP Site Manager to recruit and retain students using a variety of communication channels such as face-to-face meetings, telephone calls, SMS and social
media. The role supports students from non-English speaking backgrounds with their goals, as documented in their
Individual Pathway Plan.
The Student Engagement Officer ensures that students are given relevant and reliable information pertaining to future vocational, educational and settlement goals.
This position requires a broad range of skills in career and education counselling, as well as coordination with the AMEP customer service team, classroom teachers, Skills and Jobs Centre and other teaching centres throughout the institute.
Your Skills and Qualifications:
Qualifications:
- A relevant qualification in Business or Office Administration or equivalent at Certificate IV or above.
- Experience in AMEP, SEE or any other English Language Tuition program is highly desirable.
- Fluency in a language other than English is highly desirable
- Stakeholder Management: Ability to respond to clients' needs promptly and to follow through on inquiries, request
- Teamwork and Flexibility: Experience in working collaboratively as part of a team to achieve team goals, including good organisational skills, flexibility during peak periods, and being able to rapidly change priorities as needed without undue discomfort
