About the role:

An exciting and ongoing opportunity to join Box Hill Institute as one of our Marketing Events Officers within our highly creative and vibrant Marketing team


In this role you will be coordinating the organisation and delivery of internal and external events to attract prospective students and clients to Box Hill Institute You will also have the opportunity to implement and coordinate all aspects of the annual events calendar as well as bringing in innovative and creative ideas on building engagement and enhancing Box Hill Institute's brand and student recruitment strategies.


As the Marketing Events Officer, you will be liaising with various stakeholders on a regular basis; managing registration/ticket sale processes, lead event enquiries, visiting sites/venues and booking coordination.

You will also be responsible for promoting and advertising the events and coordinating all logístical arrangements such as catering, displays, audio visual equipment and printing.


Within your role you will also provide administrative support regarding budgets, supplier management, procedures and operational progress as well as prepare written communications including event and executive briefings.

  • Note; the salary for this role is a level PACCT 5 $70,012 per annum plus superannuation. _

About You:

  • Relevant Events Manager Degree or similar qualification and/or demonstrated experience within a similar role
  • Experience within marketing and/or student recruitment and engagement (highly desirable)
  • Knowledge of systems and planning requirements for delivering busy and successful events calendar on time and within budgets
  • High level written communication skills and ability to use appropriate styles and formats in line with brand guidelines
  • Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail; ability to recognise barriers and find effective ways to deal with them
  • Ability to be proactive and act upon opportunities to achieve goals
  • Strong level of creativity and innovation; drawing on a range of sources to identify new and efficient ways of doing things
  • Passionate about planning and executing events and enhancing organisational brand and values
