The Position

St John of God Geelong Hospital is just an hour out of Melbourne's CBD, and is the largest private hospital in regional Victoria providing a comprehensive range of acute services to the rapidly growing coastal city., The modern and up-to-date hospital has a 24/7 accident and emergency department, a comprehensive surgical program supported by a 12-bed critical/intensive care unit, rapidly growing cardiology, medical, rehabilitation, and cancer services.


We have an new opportunity for our growing Allied Health Department to bring on a casual
Allied Health Assistant Grade 2.

In this role the
Allied Health Assistant will be required to provide clinical and administrative support to physiotherapists, occupational therapists as well as other therapy and nursing staff as required.


The position will be offered on a Casual basis assisting on our Physio team on weekends and throughout the week when required.


  • A willingness and capacity to embrace the Mission and Values of St John of God Health Care.
  • Certificate III Allied Health Assistance, or suitable experience in a similar position.
  • Ability to follow instructions, policies and procedures.
  • Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills, with an ability to relate to others in a sensitive and professional manner.
  • Demonstrated ability and commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
  • Welldeveloped organisational skills, with an ability to manage your own workflow and cope with competing demands.

Salary: $58,011 to $59,266,** plus 11% superannuation
