Executive Manager, Operations - Small Business

Small Business Banking is a part of CBA Business Banking and provides in branch face-to-face and remote support to Small Businesses across Australia.

The Role.

The
Executive Manager, Operations will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations, including SLA management, budget management, continuously improving the risk and control environment, driving process and business efficiencies and ensuring regulatory compliance.


This team is committed to providing a seamless, high-quality experience for our customers, and as the Executive Manager of SBB Operations, you will be expected to fuel and lead our customer obsession mind-set to pro-actively identify area's and opportunities of improvement.


You will join the Small Business Extended Leadership Team and be an empowered representative of Operations at various Small Business forums.

As Executive Manager you will provide executive stakeholder visibility of performance and ensure a single point of contact and connection between sales and service to create experiences our customers love.


Additionally, Small Business Operations serves as a key control function for Small Business, performing processes and controls to ensure adherence with obligations to support sustainable growth of the business long term.


On any given day you will:

  • Influence and collaborate between teams and programs of work, to ensure sound decision making and a focus on organisational wide outcomes
  • Lead versatile teams focussed across a suite of products within Small Business including the operational management of inlife customer requests, term lending maturities and discharges.
  • Manage our regulatory, compliance and contractual obligations while helping the business to reduce its overall risk exposure.

You will also have:

  • Deep operational expertise with experience in the endtoend lifecycle of business lending origination, maintenance, transfers, renewals, extensions and discharges.
  • Executive level stakeholder management skills will be required to enable the promotion of your team's ideas.
  • Strong track record of transformation and process reengineering, including experience in driving projects/initiatives that lead to improved business standards.
  • Experience managing conflicting priorities and challenging of others where appropriate.
