About the role of Group Risk Manager:

As the Group Risk Manager you will play a key role in Icon's Risk, Governance and Compliance uplift and ongoing management.

In the position you will look after all aspects of Risk Management, Governance & Compliance, Insurance and Leadership.

Responsibilities of Group Risk Manager:

  • Lead the uplift of a business wide risk management framework;
  • Develop and monitor appropriate risk reporting throughout the business;
  • Contribute to the group's internal control development and monitoring;
  • Advocate for a robust and transparent risk culture across the business;
  • Establish and Chair a Risk & Audit committee or other Board delegated risk management process;
  • Oversee and manage Icon's insurance requirements and strategy particularly as it relates to managing risks;

Required experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, management information systems, or related field or equivalent practical experience
  • At least 5 years' relevant experience in risk management or finance with construction experience preferred
  • Strong Interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written, and be able to engage with staff at all levels of the organisation
  • Established history of creative problem solving and ability to exercise sound judgment;
  • Ability to implement crucial decisions based on accurate and timely analyses;
  • High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and resultsorientation
