About the opportunity


This is an exciting permanent, full-time opportunity which will suit an admin professional, capable to learn new systems quickly and with a keen eye for detail.

As part of a small team, you will focus your time on a selection of administration tasks which are then rotated to other members, hence, keeping you skilled across all areas.


Qualifications and experience

Essential:

  • Relevant administration experience in a similar role
  • Skills in various databases and Microsoft software
  • Basic understanding and knowledge of mechanical plant and vehicle administration.

Desirable:

  • Welldeveloped communication skills
  • Previous experience in a works depot/mechanical workshop type environment
  • Knowledge of applicable legislation/regulations
  • Demonstrated commitment to customer service
  • Ability to work within a team environment
  • Availability to work flexible working hours
  • Class C driver's licence.

Remuneration and benefits
The salary and conditions of employment are in accordance with Blacktown City Council's Enterprise Agreement.

  • Entry level for this position starts at $1,175.30 per week
  • 35hour working week
  • Opportunity to participate in Council's flextime arrangement
  • Employee benefits such as leave entitlements (where applicable), 10.5% employer contribution payable to your nominated superannuation fund, Fitness Passport, and gym membership discounts, and social clubs.
