About You

We're looking for candidates from all walks of life who have a genuine interest in Teaching, the Arts and Languages, and a knack for shouldering the heavy lifting necessary to bring the vision of the Education offerings for Adelaide University to life. You will be comfortable in liaising with academic experts to shape course content and ensure alignment with accreditation standards. You will be agile and a quick learner.

About the Role

Initially reporting to the General Manager Education Futures, you will provide a specialist service by working collaboratively with staff of the University of South Australia (UniSA) and the University of Adelaide to assist Academic and Professional Staff in developing and coordinating course content for Education programs within the new curriculum for Adelaide University.

You will research, identify, collate, curate, and/or coordinate development of course materials for Adelaide University courses aligned to the vision and principles of the University, in addition to the Good Practice Standards for curriculum development.

This position will work collaboratively with Academic and Professional Staff of UniSA and UoA and the Integration Management Office (IMO) which has been set up to oversee the development of Adelaide University.

Essential Skills and Experience

  • Relevant Tertiary Qualifications or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training
  • High level of organisational skills including the ability to manage multiple projects, to prioritise and to meet timelines in a complex environment characterised by competing demands
  • High-level problem-solving skills, including the ability to work positively and flexibly as part of a team
  • Experience in working with education technologies, such as learning management systems and content recording platforms
  • Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills, high attention to detail both written and verbal, including preparation of high-quality briefing papers and submissions and producing documents
