About the role


The Business Development & Advisory Services Coordinator is a critical role that ensures the communications and operations of the Business Development & Advisory team are managed with professionalism, proactivity and efficiency, consistently representing the company and the Business Development & Advisory team and function in a professional, positive and effective manner.


What you'll do

  • Coordinate and follow up on all correspondence received, identify urgent/ nonurgent items, and respond on the GM's behalf
  • Coordinate briefings, background reading and presentations for meetings, events and strategic engagements
  • Coordinate and attend Executive and stakeholder meetings as required and record accurate and concise minutes, follow up on actions
  • Provide meeting preparation support, prepare and manage templates and drafts of papers, prepare minutes and follow up on actions
  • Coordinate BDA projects as required, in collaboration with relevant BDA team members, members of other SA business units and third parties (including advisors and potential partners)
  • Coordinate and prepare media and promotional material in consultation with the Public Affairs team
  • Manage and coordinate BDA team engagements, ensuring meeting logistics are in place
  • Book and manage travel and accommodation including visas, travel registration on DFAT Smart Traveller site and currency
  • Manage GM's expense reconciliation

About you

  • Experience coordinating and delivering project management support in a professional services, commercial/transactional or technical environment
  • Selfassured speaking style and able to represent Standards Australia confidently
  • Able to manipulate data and evaluate numerical information for relevance and accuracy
  • Be flexible, professional, courteous, approachable and culturally aware
  • Have intermediate to advanced capability with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Capacity to deal professionally with confidential information and business sensitive data is essential
