About the role

Due to the expansion of our team, an exciting opportunity has become available for a Junior finance Officer/Graduate to join our Melbourne office (would be suitable for someone part time 3/4 days a week whilst completing degree).


Reporting to the Head of Finance and Office Manager, you will be responsible for providing professional and proactive front line support to the firm the role will be 80% Finance and 20% on average.

The key responsibilities and requirements for this role are as follows:
Finance based tasks working closely with various team members
- monthly financial reporting assistance
- client reporting
- accounts payable
- accounts receivable
- bank reconciliations
- cashflow assistance
- budget assistance

Office admin based tasks
- daily court filing;
- responsible for collection and distribution of all mail throughout the Melbourne office;
- end of day packing and sending of daily mail for the whole Melbourne office;
- daily deliveries;
- other administrative duties as required.

About you
To be considered for this role, you will have the following experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (completed or currently undertaking)
- excellent organisation and communication skills;
- friendly and helpful disposition and positive attitude;
- ability to multi-task, prioritise effectively and to work within tight time frames;
- enthusiastic, committed and proactive approach to work; and
- ability to work autonomously and within a team.
