Working as part of a global team and reporting to the Head of HR Australia, the HR Operations Manager is a new role and will lead the existing HR Operations including management of the HR Payroll Vendor, Employee Benefits, Mobility and delivery of operational HR advice across Australia.


With a focus on streamlining HR Operations, the emphasis for this role will be in leading and enabling individuals and teams across the business while also being the Project Lead for a range of HR programs and initiatives that enhance the employee experience.


In this role you will be responsible for:

  • Managing the relationship with the payroll vendor ensuring payroll services are integrated and working effectively;
  • Partnering with business leaders to provide generalist HR advice and guidance on all people matters and processes;
  • Supporting annual people projects such as remuneration and bonus review, talent management, employee engagement and recruitment;
  • Delivering a range of HR projects and initiatives that align to business and global requirements;
  • Identify opportunities to create and contribute to efficiencies and improvements across the HR function and project manage key improvement projects.
To be successful in this role, you will display the following;

  • Previous experience working in a HR Generalist/HR Business Partner role within Banking/Financial Services;
  • Prior experience overseeing payroll in current or prior roles;
  • Experience leading and influencing change and process improvements;
  • Ability to build authentic relationships and partner with key senior stakeholders with the capability to advise and influence;
  • Exceptional attention to detail;
  • Ability to demonstrate agility and flexibility in a fast moving, dynamic environment;
  • Possess a fantastic attitude that reflects an eagerness to grow, build and progress within the business;

Previous experience in banking/financial services is essential;:

  • Tertiary qualifications in HR or related discipline.
