The role

We assist individuals with disabilities in enhancing their independence, both at home and within the community.

  • Active support: Engage in personal development activities, offer personal care, transportation, and teach independent living skills
  • Health support: Administer and record medication, and adhere to health support plans
  • Positive behaviour support: Address behavior triggers and manage escalations
  • Safeguarding: Ensure safety for both you and the participant, along with proper documentation and reporting

About you

  • Demonstrated passion for working with individuals with disabilities
  • Mandatory C3 certification
  • Experience in manual handling and wheelchair assistance
  • Flexible to work rotating shifts, including weekends and overnight hours
  • Valid NDIS Worker Check
  • Current National Police Check
  • Valid driver's license
  • First aid certification
  • Updated Covid vaccinations
