We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Disability Support Worker to join our growing team on the Central Coast.

As a Disability Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing assistance to individuals with a disability, to help them achieve their goals and live their lives to the fullest. You will be providing a range of services, including personal care, community access, and social support.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team. You will also need to have a genuine passion for helping others, and a commitment to providing the highest standard of care.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Provide personal care and support to participants, including assistance with showering, dressing, and medication supervision.
- Support participants with their daily activities, such as shopping, meal preparation, and household tasks
- Assist participants with community access, such as attending appointments, participating in social activities, and accessing public transport
- Build positive relationships with participants, their families, and other support workers
- Maintain accurate records of client progress and report any concerns to the appropriate person
Key Requirements:
- Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability) or equivalent qualification (desirable)
- Current First Aid and CPR certificates
- Current National Police Check and Working with Children Check
- Driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Genuine passion for helping others and providing high-quality care
**Job Types**: Subcontract, Casual
**Salary**: $37.54 - $50.00 per hour
