  • The Practice Lead supports the strategic goals of Community Corrections by supporting the delivery of enhanced practice in offender management through providing advice, support and guidance to Team Leaders and frontline operational staff to manage critical community risks.

Duties:

  • Provide leadership, professional development and training to staff relating to their management of offenders on community based orders.
  • Provide mentoring and guidance on case management including the facilitation of case conferencing as required.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with relevant stakeholders and represent Community Corrections at a variety of local forums and committees.
  • Collate and maintain delivery and outcome data for the purposes of statistical reporting and evaluation.
  • Contribute to Community Corrections projects, practice and policy development.
  • Develop and contribute to the development of training to enhance staff knowledge and skills to support service delivery outcomes, delivering training as required.
  • Develop and contribute to the development of tools and resources for staff and managers to use to enhance service delivery outcomes, and reporting
