About the Role
The Academic Programs Officer, reporting to the Graduate and Custom Programs Coordinator, provides administrative support for award and non-award programs within the Melbourne Medical School's Department of Medical Education. The role involves managing course-related processes for prospective and current students, supporting key lifecycle processes such as enrolment and clinical placement compliance, and contributing to quality assurance and process improvements.Your responsibilities will include:
Provide administrative support for various key points in the student lifecycle. Monitor and ensure student clinical placement compliance Enter course and subject changes into the Course Approval and Publication System (CAPS). Liaise with academic coordinators to collect and collate complete and accurate information related to staff contracts, HR compliance and legal agreements. Who We Are Looking For
You will have excellent planning, organisational, and time management skills, with the ability to multi-task and prioritise effectively. You will also excel in building relationships with internal staff and key stakeholders, thinking innovatively, and maintaining a high level of attention to detail
You will also have:
Degree with subsequent relevant work experience, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training. Demonstrated experience in a range of computing skills including word processing, spreadsheets, databases, internet and email. Planning and organisational skills with a capability for multi-tasking and prioritisation, problem solving and effective time management. Ability to think innovatively and contribute to the continuous improvement of departmental processes.For further information regarding responsibilities and requirements, please refer to the attached PD.
