Your New Role

As our Chief Marketing Officer you'll be stepping into a newly created, dynamic role within our Leadership Team. Working across our South Melbourne Head Office and Dandenong South Warehouse your primary responsibility will be leading and driving our Marketing strategy. Working closely with our Creative Team you'll be creating impactful campaigns that are heard around the world, ensuring that every touchpoint with our audience reflects our values of innovation, sustainability, and excellence.

This role is so much more than traditional marketing. It requires a mix of strategic thinking and hands on execution. You'll develop and execute innovative strategies that not only drive brand awareness and loyalty, but also contribute significantly to our hyper growth. Leading a passionate team of talented and creative marketers, your new team encompasses Digital, Loyalty, Brand, Partnerships, Communications, Sustainability, Philanthropy, Media Strategy, and Customer Experience. Your strategic insights and data-driven approach will guide decision-making, empowering the team to make impactful choices that drive tangible results and deliver a compelling return on investment.

Your Day to Day

  • Develop and execute continuous improvement strategies for Global Marketing, driving sales growth and meeting marketing objectives.
  • Lead and align cross-functional teams with our strategic vision, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.
  • Mentor our marketing team to support international expansion and navigate changing business landscapes.
  • Collaborate closely with Leadership Team members, Creative, Sales, NPD, and Operations to drive business outcomes and growth.
  • Manage marketing budget and resources, optimising spend for measurable results and ROI.
  • Monitor key performance metrics, making data-driven decisions to adapt strategies as needed.
  • Oversee agency relationships, guiding the business on best practices and reducing reliance on external partners.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement, efficiency gains, and cost savings in our marketing initiatives.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, incorporating innovative ideas into our marketing strategies.
  • Engage with key stakeholders, both internally and externally, to build strong relationships and drive collaboration.

Your Skills

  • Proven track record in serving as a Chief Marketing Officer for innovative brands, including exposure to fast-growing environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead effectively, with strong skills in team building and management.
  • Highly motivated self-starter who can adapt and take on additional responsibilities when required.
  • Extensive experience in developing marketing strategies, leading cross-functional teams.
  • Extensive professional network in the industry, connecting with top-tier professionals and potential partners.
  • Exceptional skills in managing stakeholders, both internally and externally.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced and entrepreneurial work environment.
  • Tertiary qualifications in business, marketing, or related fields are highly valued.
