Our Lihir operation in Process Plant is now recruiting for the position of Senior Specialist - Processing
As a Senior Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in providing operational technical expertise for key projects and ensuring the safe and effective execution (manning, resourcing, and planning) of planned shutdowns for Back End operations. Your proactive approach will ensure the smooth operation and schedule of weekly maintenance of Autoclaves, CIL, Tailing Circuits, and CCDS, acting as the conduit between adjacent and external work teams and the operating plant.
The preferred candidate must have at least 7 years of demonstrated experience in gold mining processes, including crushing, milling (SABC), flotation, and thickening, with time spent in a supervisory role. In addition to your technical expertise, the role requires providing regular feedback, coaching, and formal training to team members. Therefore, a Certificate in Workplace Assessment and Training or a similar qualification is desirable.
