Wood is seeking a highly skilled Senior Instrument & Electrical Designer to join our team in Darwin, Northern Territory. As part of our Operations APAC West business, you will be responsible for delivering brownfields engineering, procurement, construction, optimisation, and technical services to the oil and gas sector.
About the RoleAs a Senior Instrument & Electrical Designer, you will report directly to the I&E Design Manager and work as part of the Wood core design team. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Acting as the Instrument & Electrical Designer on brownfields oil & gas projects
- Ensuring deliverables are consistently checked, accurate, and presentable
- Providing day-to-day services to the project
To be successful in this role, you must be an Australian citizen or hold Permanent Residency (PR) and be able to work lawfully in Australia without company sponsorship. You will also require:
- Suitably qualified in Instrument Design Engineering from a recognised institution
- A minimum of 8+ years of proven experience in the Oil & Gas Brownfields Engineering / EPCM sector
- Relevant Certificate or suitably qualified by industry experience
- Experience in E3 D, SPI, SPEL, and/or Navisworks Simulator is advantageous
