The Role
We are now seeking a National VM Manager to join our Australian Designer client


As the National Visual Merchandising Manager, you will be a part of the continued growth and brand vision across all boutiques.

With a creative eye you will create in store layouts that complement the brand aesthetic and bring the current collection to life.


In this role, you will lead the stores with visual merchandising standards and training to deliver on a seamless customer experience in-store that creates positive growth in sales and overall branding.


  • Minimum 23+ yr experience in a VM Management role. National VM experience would be highly regarded.
  • Proficient in Adobe creative suite.
  • Photoshop, Illustrator, or similar.
  • Showcase strong emotional intelligence with the ability to manage a diverse team.
  • Strong communication and relationship building with Head Office, National Retail Manager and key business stakeholders.
  • Strong attention to detail and creative styling.
  • Kind and approachable
  • Ability to work under pressure and be highly organised.
  • Clear and fair communicator, both written and verbal
  • Ability to build and nurture workable and effective relationships with team members.
  • Flexible and able to adapt to change.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, create and implement the VM direction and strategy for all boutiques.
  • Distribute fortnightly VM guidelines and weekly window guidelines to the retail network in line with product launches.
  • Create fortnightly wardrobe guidelines for retail team members to ensure that this is also reflected across the retail network.
  • Ensure the brand is showcased to a premium standard in order to elevate the customer experience and maximise revenue. Maintain the presentation of all products to the highest quality and standard, including hanger appeal and steaming.
  • Visit store locations regularly and lead store managers across all boutiques.
  • Review photos of VM setups across the retail network and provide any necessary feedback, ensuring that the weekly VM outcomes and responsibilities are being maintained and actioned.
  • Ensure store leaders are being trained and up skilled in Visual Merchandising standards and processes.
  • Develop monthly and weekly VM calendars including window updates and instore floor moves.
  • Work closely with our Buying & Merchandise Team across any updates to merch schedule, ensuring any updates to current merch plan is communicated to all retail stores.
  • Work with our Merchandise Team and National Retail Manager identify potential stock exit opportunities in slow moving styles to ensure each store is presented to the highest standards.
  • Monitor sales in all stores to make balanced commercial and creative decisions regarding the VM strategy to drive sales.
  • Provide weekly reports on the VM outcomes of each boutique. This includes product assessment, maintenance and store presentation.
  • Regularly review any maintenance opportunities across the retail network.
  • Work closely with the Marketing and PR team and build relationships to identify opportunities around the retail space
  • Provide direction for external florists across all states and review all floral installations and invoices for retail stores.
  • Support National Retail Manager in all VM aspects of new store openings.
