We are looking for a talented
Human Resources Manager to join our team on a full-time basis.

We are a diverse team of around 130 team members, operating a hospitality venue with strong community connections.

As the Club's new Human Resources Manager, you'll also be supported by an excellent HR Coordinator.

Day to day, you'll manage disciplinary issues; develop and maintain policies and procedures; manage WHS; manage Worker's Compensation matters and you will work closely with our Executive Team to develop and understand the Club strategy, and work directly with Department Managers, shift managers and supervisors to support execution.

You'll be a point of contact for HR and maintain an open-door policy.


There is plenty happening in 2023 with the ongoing development of the Club, which means the opportunity for further growth and development of our people and the HR function.

The HR Department is implementing a new HRIS (they'll wait for you though), along with some amazing new training modules for our team to choose from, for their own personal growth and development.


What do we need from you?

  • Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources Management.
  • Experience in a Middle-Management or Senior-Management Human Resources position, within a hospitality or customerservice based environment.
  • Experience as ReturntoWork Coordinator, coupled with appropriate training.
  • Proven ability to build effective working relationships across all levels within the business.
  • High level attention to detail and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • You're friendly, love working in a fastpaced environment, and you enjoy a challenge.
  • HRIS and HR systems experience (Employment Hero and Humanforce/TimeTarget preferred)
  • Training and development experience.
  • A team player that demonstrates the ability to collaborate and provide support.
  • A cando, positive, and teamoriented attitude.
  • Demonstrate a strong work ethic and thrive on working as part of a team.
  • A current NSW RSA Photo ID Competency Card (or willingness to obtain)
  • A current NSW RCG Photo ID Competency Card (or willingness to obtain)


Due to the nature of our business, it is anticipated that you will work in the evening once a week to connect with our team members.


Vaccinations - Ettalong Diggers maintains a Board approved mandatory vaccination policy for all team members, and therefore it is a requirement to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.


Note - A National Police Check and an AML Check will form part of the recruitment process for this position.
