About the role


Reporting to the Senior Category and Shopper Marketing Manager, this role is responsible for creating and executing customer activations for assigned channels/customers, as well as building and maintaining strong and influential relationships.


  • Develop and execute channel and customer activation initiatives that delivers the short and long term brand portfolio aspirations
  • Partnering with National Business Managers and Trade Marketing Manager to execute the joint customer business plans
  • Influencing brand and category stakeholders to create and execute targeted plans to introduce NPD and shopper marketing initiatives
  • Lead and drive the annual activation plan on behalf of your customer/s and manage the calendar and shopper budgets throughout the year
  • Conduct post implementation reviews of all joint customer activities

About you


With a background in business, marketing or equivalent, we are searching for an experienced trade/customer marketing professional from a FMCG business or similar.

You will have customer marketing experience and understand building consumer and shopper promotions that aligns to brand and occasion led strategy for retailer engagement.


  • Understanding of shopper behavior and ability to creatively think outside the square
  • Ability to interpret insights and derive recommendations which will drive volume or profit outcomes for customers
  • Welldeveloped presentation confidence and professionalism to deal with high profile national customer groups
  • Proven track record of successfully leading projects including budgetary responsibility
  • Strong ability to prioritise and multitask
  • Solid project management skills with excellent attention to detail
