About the role:
The position of Youth Mentor is pivotal in empowering young participants aged 10-25 with NDIS plans to enhance their social skills, community engagement, and life independence through personalized mentoring and support, with a focus on community access.
We have Youth Mentor Level 3 - Part-time positions available.
In addition, you will:
- Provide mentoring support and be a positive role model for young individuals
- Lead small groups to foster social connections and skill development
- Organize activities to help participants achieve their goals
- Offer client-centered services using a flexible outreach approach
About you:
Successful candidates will possess a relevant tertiary qualification in a human services field or have previous experience working with vulnerable youth. In addition, you should have a current working with children check (blue card) and NDIS Clearance, along with excellent communication skills and the ability to work autonomously.
