Youth Trainer and Engagement Officer

The Role:
- The successful candidate for this role will play a crucial part in empowering and supporting young individuals through personalized training pathways to kickstart their careers.
- Undertake a mix of training and engagement activities focused on youth development, offering various personal and professional development opportunities.
- Develop new curricula, tailor training programs to meet student-specific needs.
- Lead the creation of new training resources, including handouts, presentations, or online materials to enhance training sessions and provide continuous learning opportunities.
About you:
- Motivated individual with a proven ability to engage and inspire young people and encourage youth participation.
- Demonstrated experience in youth programs' development, training facilitation, or support.
- Hold tertiary qualifications or Certificate IV in training and assessment.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, ability to build relationships with stakeholders from diverse backgrounds.
- Experience in data collection, report preparation, and maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Experience in developing and delivering training, mentoring, and planning training activities.
- Ability to supervise, mentor, and contribute to the professional growth of junior staff.
