The Role

  • As an Advisor, you will prepare reconciliations and investigate unreconciled items for all operational money in and out of accounts across MLC platforms and products including Wrap, Plum, and Masterkey. You will have the opportunity to identify people, processes, and system improvements to uplift quality and ongoing efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reconcile all MLC memberfacing operational bank accounts and suspense ledgers
  • Effectively identify root cause of unreconciled customer money and ensure action plan is in place to enable timely resolution of money in and out of wealth accounts
  • Actively participate in team cross training, assisting, guiding, and supporting peers to ensure effective and efficient deliveries
  • Conform with all internal operating procedures and ensure adherence to operation management principles and workflow best practice through Operational Excellence
  • Support implementation of strategic change to create efficiencies and improve controls within the Reconciliations Team
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with Operations and Finance stakeholders
  • Perform routine processing/administrative activities relating to Reconciliations in accordance with policies and procedure
  • Capture learnings and contribute towards a culture of continuous improvement

To Be Successful in This Role You Will Possess:

  • Proven operations experience with ability to demonstrate practical analytical or project experience in an SME capacity or experience within the Financial Services industry in a similar role
  • Good working knowledge of operational processes and service delivery within ClientFirst Operations
  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills highly regarded
  • Graduate or vocational qualification in Accounting or Finance preferred
  • Ability to think broadly and draw on wide personal experience in applicable business and technology environments
