About us


Alfred Mental & Addiction Health is responsible for the operation of services, which focus on people with a severe mental illness residing in the Inner South Eastern area of Melbourne.


The single most important goal of Alfred Mental & Addiction Health is to create an environment that facilitates clinical recovery, supports individual recovery efforts and strives to minimise service system barriers to the recovery process.


What you'll be doing


In this role, you will support, lead and collaborate quality improvement with the Carer & Consumer Consultants, Carer & Consumer Peer Workforce teams.

You will work alongside clinicians and service leads to maximise Consumer focused engagement and participation in treatment through improved service design in response to Consumer experience.


About you

  • A personal lived experience of being a consumer of mental health services is essential
  • Experience working in a Consumer Peer Support role
  • Certificate IV in Mental Health Peer Work or Intentional Peer Support Training (desirable)
  • Australian working rights
  • Current Victorian Driver's License
  • Be willing to undergo a Background Check
