The purpose of the role

Join us as an Industry Advisor, where you'll play a key role in driving sales tailored to the Retail and Consumer Goods sectors. Your responsibilities include initiating and leading strategic discussions with key decision-makers, focusing on both business and technology aspects. You'll be instrumental in identifying and seizing market opportunities that bring value to customers and drive transformative outcomes. As a subject matter expert in digital business transformation, you will engage with senior leaders to cultivate new business prospects, showcasing the tangible benefits of Microsoft's offerings and forging strategic partnerships to drive success.

Qualifications

Minimum experience

  • 10+ years of experience in Retail, Consumer Goods, or related Consulting fields, driving digital evolution.

Preferred experience

  • Prior roles in business strategy consulting or industry sales at leading tech organizations.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or Technology
  • Master's Degree in Business Administration

Responsibilities

  • Utilize your industry expertise to accelerate digital transformation using Microsoft Cloud, creating new opportunities and growth in Retail and Consumer Goods.
  • Identify and foster new prospects within designated accounts, nurturing opportunities in Azure, Modern Work, Business Applications, and Security to establish market-leading solutions.
  • Drive demand by leveraging executive relationships to unlock incremental growth opportunities.
  • Advance thought leadership by promoting innovative and scalable industry solutions.
  • Ensure operational excellence, optimize customer engagement, and collaborate with the account team to exceed customer expectations consistently.
