The Opportunity
Join our team at the Eastern Clinical Research Unit (ECRU) as an Ethics Submissions Officer.

In this role, your primary objective will be to provide efficient and accurate support in ethics, research governance and research administration for our diverse range of research projects and clinical trials.

The Ethics Submissions Officer will be responsible for the meticulous preparation and submission of ethics and research governance documentation.

Working across various clinical disciplines and preparing essential documents this position will play a crucial role in collating and distributing all necessary documentation for ethics submissions, governance reviews and post-approval activities, ensuring compliance with the requirements of our Human Research Ethics Committee (HREC) and Research Governance Office.


To excel in this position, you should demonstrate strong administration skills, showcasing your ability to work with precision and efficiency.

Effective communication and attention to detail are crucial as you will handle complex documentation and multiple priorities while meeting strict deadlines.

Your proactive approach and initiative in ensuring tasks are completed promptly will be highly valued as you contribute to the success of our research initiatives.
