About the role
The Grade 3 Clinical Neuropsychologist will provide a responsive, evidence based neuropsychology service for patients attending the Eastern Cognitive Disorders Clinic (ECDC) based at Box Hill Hospital., other referred outpatients and to inpatients at Box Hill Hospital who are presenting with significant cognitive concerns.
ECDC is a diagnostic clinic specifically for patients with focal onset dementias and for those with cognitive syndromes that pose diagnostic difficulties.
ECDC clinicians have a particular interest in the diagnosis and management of Frontotemporal Dementia (FTD).About you
To be successful in this role you will possess:
Specific knowledge and expertise in the area of FTD diagnosis and management
Significant experience in assessment and intervention with other neuropsychological conditions
Current registration with AHPRA and Psychology Board of Australia
A Masters or Doctoral qualification in Clinical Neuropsychology
Membership or eligible for membership of the College of Clinical Neuropsychology, Australian Psychological Society
Registration endorsement in the Approved Area of Practice of Clinical Neuropsychology
PBA Approved Supervisor status for higher degree placement and for the registrar program or be eligible to engage in PBA approved supervision training in order to attain PBA Approved Supervisor status for higher degree placement and for the registrar program
A minimum of 5 years' experience working as a fully registered psychologist
Highly developed interpersonal and leadership experience
A strong commitment to high quality care
Excellent communication and organisational skills
