Practice Administration Coordinator

The Practice Administration Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the day-to-day operations and implementation of the administrative functions required to deliver all clinics at the Primary Health Care Service.

You will lead the reception, administrative and patient transport functions of the PHCS, troubleshooting day-to-day operational issues including

· Be responsible for the administrative set up of medical practitioners and visiting medical specialists required to operate our service systems and liaise with the relevant managers to ensure the providers have the administrative support and resources required to deliver quality medical services

· Manage Medicare billing

· Liaise with the Executive Manager Remote PHCS regarding practice administration requirements in Wilcannia.

· Function as the central point for building and fleet maintenance for the PHCS.

· Coordinate planned and unplanned maintenance of equipment or outages for the PHCS buildings and equipment.

This position requires occasional travel with overnight stays to support our outreach services.

Salary up to $86,600 gross per annum plus superannuation.
