Salary: Band 5 - $74,396- $86, % superannuation


We are looking for a Program Officer to support the delivery of the School Focused Youth Services program across Hobsons Bay and Wyndham.

You will sit within the Youth Services team and contribute to building resilience in young people through working with schools.


School Focused Youth Services (SFYS) is a program funded by the Victorian Department of Education & Training (DET), targeting interventions for students at risk of disengagement.

The program is delivered by Hobsons Bay City Council across the schools in both Hobsons Bay and Wyndham.

The program's funding is secured until the end of 2023, we are hoping funding will be extended beyond this date.


What you'll be working on

  • Planning, coordination, evaluation and reporting on student interventions (small group programs for students who are at risk of disengagement) and capacity building (training for teachers and staff)
  • Developing relationships with service providers and facilitators who will deliver these programs
  • Supporting the delivery of the Youth Services initiatives for young people across Hobsons Bay
